The recent series “Believe Me” the harrowing adaptation about the crimes of John Warboys, a perverted black cab driver was gripping the whole way through, but the way victim evidence previously ignored turned on him at the time of his potential parole provided a perfect series finale for me.
It was made all the more colourful by the brilliant cast especially Daniel Mays who played Warboys, not only being the creepy taxi driver, but portraying so well the emotions of a compulsive liar. I wondered how he felt about portraying this evil man.
So many dramas, even those based on a true story, can end with an anti climax, but “Believe Me” had me thinking long after the finale.
